Hospital, hospice, and care facility visits

When your loved one can't come to a notary, I come to them.

I travel to hospitals, inpatient hospice, nursing homes, assisted living, and memory care across Conroe, Humble, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands, and North Houston. Calm, respectful, and HIPAA trained.

Privacy and safety

  • HIPAA trained to protect patient privacy
  • Bloodborne pathogen trained for clinical settings

  • $100,000 errors and omissions insurance

Before I arrive

A few minutes of preparation saves a second trip, which matters most when time is short.

  • Each signer has a valid, unexpired government photo ID. Hospital wristbands are not ID.
  • Documents are complete, with no blank spaces.
  • Any required witnesses are arranged. I don't provide witnesses.
  • The nurse knows I'm coming, so we can time the visit around care.

When I can't proceed

A notary must be satisfied that the signer knows what they are signing and is signing willingly. If the signer is not alert, can't communicate, or appears pressured, I'll stop and we can reschedule. It protects your loved one and the document.

Please read before booking: If a signing can't go forward once I arrive, the travel fee still applies. That includes a signer without a valid photo ID, incomplete documents, missing witnesses, or a signer who isn't alert or appears pressured.

I notarize signatures only. I can't prepare documents, explain them, or give legal advice.

Bedside visit fees

$40 travel fee ($60 where I have to pay to park, such as Houston hospitals), plus Texas notary fees of $10 per document for the first signer and $1 for each added signer on the same certificate. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., any day, there's no after-hours add-on. Evenings (7 to 10 p.m.) and holidays add $35. Late night (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.) adds $75.
